Oct 08: Fellow MPRI employee and good friend, Mark Farrar, and I, playing on a Thursday night at the Lee House...a safe house more near central Kabul where about 50 MPRI employees live. Every Thursday night in the warmer months they have a dinner on the roof top deck where we are playing. They barbecue and have a very nice dinner, and we play some music while they are cooking and starting dinner...everything from blue grass to country, popular, Beatles, folk music, and patriotic. Lots of fun and great relief in the midst of our stressful environment here.
