Dec 08: Just around corner from Camp Eggers, on the route we travel every day back and forth to Bala Hissar...an Afghan store selling Christmas trees! Amazing...just don't let the Taliban get close...the Afghan government actually staged a Christmas celebration in downtown Kabul...we couldn't go, of course, but it went off without any "fireworks" (bombs or attacks)...a little progress in the society here.
