Dec 08: Sheep...always lots of sheep on the market for food, wool, etc. They eat a lot of sheep-kabobs here. This pic shows again how the "brand" their sheep...with spray paint...much less painful than a hot iron brand. This is on a sheep-trading-and-selling stretch of road about 200 yards long near Bala Hissar where we train, and this stretch is always full of sheep, coming and going. In the background is a small neighborhood Mosque with a small minaret with loud speakers...this is where the local Muslim religious leader, the Mullah, cranks up the microphone and broadcasts the daily calls to prayer usually in the morning and evening every single day.
