Dec 08: This is at the graduation of our Afghan National Army Intel Class #5...these Afghan gents are four of our Interpreters/Translators (IT), and one of our drivers. On the row to the left: Wafi (IT), Zikria (IT), Wesal (Driver). On the row to the right: Jawed (IT), Mohammedy (IT). They are all in their mid to late 20's. These gents make enough money to afford the leather jackets...actually most of it comes out of China and is pretty cheap...since China is right next door to the northeast...Afghanistan actually has a piece of border with China about 70km long...
