Feb 09: The officer in the beret to the right facing the troops is Major General (2-star) Khaliq, the Chief of Intelligence for the Afghan National Army (ANA)...he is talking to our Class #6 that we graduated on 5 Feb...giving them a farewell speech and pep talk. The officer standing to his left without a hat on is Colonel Azizi, the Director of Intelligence Training for the ANA. The Students to the left are all ANA intel officers from Colonel to Lieutenant, from many different provinces around the country. Only ten of them in this picture...we graduated 11...usually 12, but one had to leave for medical reason. The student on the far left close to the camera is a Captain...our honor graduate...very smart officer and had some good computer knowledge.
